  Terrible service - waited 10 minutes to place a drink order. Tried to flag down a waiter who didn't seem to be doing anything, but he told me to wait. Totally useless. Wanted desert, but the waitress couldn't be bothered to ask or stick around at the table long enough for me to have a chance to ask. Boring menu with mediocre food. There must be something better in town.

  I have been a regular for as many years as J&P opened their restaurant in Bath. I just read the last comment and can't understand what has happened! I think Rhufus must be a very unhappy and miserable person. As you can see from the previous comments, people have rated J&P very highly. The staff is wonderful, one happy family - everyone working there is related to each other! That makes it such a caring group. There are 2 chefs, John and Paul, J&P, who are doing their best to present good food. I would suggest for Rhufus and company to give it a second try - but - on thinking it over, better not. There are enough satisfied customers to fill the place and are happy to be there.

  I have been a long time customer of JP's Family restaurant in Bath and have never been disappointed. The food is good quality and delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone with no reservations at all.
